About
Arçelik-LG Klima Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. It was established on May 25, 1999 for the purpose of producing air conditioners for Turkish and world markets. Arçelik A.Ş. and LG Electronics with a 50-50% partnership and an investment of 50 million dollars, the company operates in the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone.
Arçelik-LG has a production facility established on an area of approximately 70 thousand square meters, 55 thousand square meters of which is closed. Arçelik-LG, Turkey\'s first and largest integrated air conditioning plant. It is the largest air conditioner production facility in the Near East and Europe with a production capacity of 2.5 million units of home air conditioners. Production capacity and product variety are increasing every year for both household and commercial products with new investments.

Arçelik-LG Air Conditioning Factory established its production systems in the light of international standards and proved its production and quality processes in accordance with these standards with ISO 9001 in 2001, ISO 14001 in 2003 and OHSAS 18001 in 2005. Arçelik-LG products also have the approvals of international standard organizations such as TSE and TUV. Arçelik-LG\'s environmentally friendly production is carried out in accordance with RoHS and REACH Directives, which limit the use of harmful substances and chemicals in electrical and electronic equipment. Wastewater is treated and discharged in biological and industrial treatment plants in order to prevent pollution of the receiving environment and improve the quality of wastewater. Wastes are managed in a controlled manner from generation to disposal, and are classified and sent to authorized organizations in compliance with environmental laws for recycling or disposal.
