ÇEL-MER Çelik Endüstrisi AŞ started production as a rolling mill in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul in 1986. Today, a semi-continuous modern rolling mill in Gebze / Kocaeli region on 95.000 m² open and 30.000 m² closed area continues its activities using peeling, grinding and cold drawing facilities.
ÇEL-MER is at an important point in the production of high quality and bright steel. In addition to being the only one in its field in the country in terms of production possibilities, it is also expanding its export area. In addition to Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Bulgaria, Greece and similar neighboring countries, it also exports to European community countries such as Germany, France and Italy.
It aims to constantly renew itself in order to offer high quality products at more affordable prices. A modern laboratory has been created today; High quality production is aimed at coil cold drawn, rod cold drawn, peeling and grinding units.
