SANKO, which entered the sector with the privatization of Adıyaman Cement Factory in 1995, continued its growth by commissioning the Narlı factory at the end of 2007. Çimko, an establishment of Sanko Holding, has had a say in the sector and in the region with its Adıyaman, Kahramanmaraş Narlı Cement factories, Gaziantep packaging facility, Kilis Packaging facility and 8 concrete plants in the region.
Çimko Çimento Adıyaman Factory joined the Sanko Group after Adıyaman Çimento was privatized in 1995. The facility established in Adıyaman consists of 252.000 m2 of closed area.
The first establishment capacity of the factory was 1700 tons / day of clinker, and with the improvements made, it was increased to 2000 tons / day (640.000 tons / year) clinker and 1.350.000 tons / year cement production and sales levels in 1999. Clinker production technology at Çimko Cement works with a preheater dry system, and Puzzolan, Portland and other requested cements can be produced in compliance with TSE norms and European ENV 197-1 standard.
Çimko Cement Adıyaman Plant, as an organization that attaches importance to total quality in production, was awarded the TS EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Assurance Certificate in 2000. Turkey Cement Manufacturers\' Association and Cement Producers Employers who are members of trade unions Çimko Cement, Cement Manufacturers have taken the Union \'Quality and Environmental Control Board\' document and the Environment and the group has received from the Ministry of Forestry emission permits compromising environmental sensitivity policies with the document that has been proven.
The factory has OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety certificate.
