The Gemfont Group was founded by Mr. Chen-Lung Hsu in 1957 and started out as a provider of food ingredients. Gemfont has now evolved into the largest food material supplier in Taiwan, producing and distributing a comprehensive food list including food additives and ingredients to food processing, health-care food, food service and baking industries. Gemfont is celebrating its 60th Anniversary. Dedication to enhancing food quality is one that we continue to expect from ourselves. Gemfont is able to supply a wide variety of ingredients to meet the demands of the food industry, as well as to support customers with the latest food trend and food development techniques. With the solid foundation in Taiwan, Gemfont has now expanded the sales network both in Asia and in America, making itself a well-known company among the international food industry. In 1998, Gemfont began aggressively expanding its presence in China by establishing our overseas outposts under the name of Young & Fine in Shanghai and Xiamen. With rapid development in cross-strait trade and cultural ties, and headquarters' fully support, our China branches build up a professional R&D team and accumulate business management expertise. The commissioning of the Young & Fine's new plant "Xiang' an" in Xiamen ushered in a new era for the Chinese market as well. The brand-new plant facilities and modern workshops not only conform to China's food & hygiene regulations but also provide Chinese customers with safe and high-quality food ingredients.
