In 1982, I started working in my father\'s shop and started working. I was collecting information to improve myself. My goal was to establish my own commercial firm in the future. There were no multi-brand machines at that time. Best selling machines; There were Brother 757 model, Juki 555 side oil, Estenpire, Deevolar and Toyota brand machines. Salih Uçar, Adem Şen and Oktay Kitapçı were the best customers of that time.
In 1987, I learned about the repair and maintenance of garment machines from my master Şaban Keçeoğlu. I worked with him for 4 years. We established my first business in 1994 with my brother under the title of Öz Kar Makine. We switched to our own shop with the title.
Turkey\'s textile apparel industry skipped after the 2000s era. With the arrival of many branded and unbranded machines from China, we developed our company. In 2004, the title of our company was changed to Metsa Makina Tic. Ltd. Şti. and moved to our head office Metsa Plaza.
In a short time, we became one of the strong and reliable companies of the sector. We have offered spare parts, service, sales, second hand and exchange with new ones to our valued customers. We broke up with my brother Salih Kar on 27.01.2010 and ended our 16-year partnership. I am Mehmet Kar as Metsa Makina Tic. Ltd. Şti. I would be honored to serve our valued customers for many years with my company. I am proud that we have our contribution in the market of garment machinery that is growing and developing like an avalanche.
