About
Hacettepe University NMLab (Neuromuscular Control Laboratory) researchers are conducting research on the complex relationship of the musculoskeletal and nervous system in the realization of human movements, the mechanical and physiological responses that occur under dynamic loads, and the coordination between muscles in multi-joint movements. Basically, measurement and analysis methods related to neurophysiology, biomechanics, ergonomics and sportive performance are used. While surface electromyography, ground reaction forces, motion analysis based on image capture, angular and linear motion and contact sensitive equipment are used, measurement devices are also designed specifically for the research design. Labview and Matlab are software used in data collection and analysis, and OpenSim in motion simulations with open source code.
NMLab started to serve as a research laboratory on the ground floor of Hacettepe University Faculty of Sport Sciences on November 25, 2016. In the laboratory infrastructure; Image capture system, wireless emg system, 6-dof force platform, inertial measurement sensors, force and angle meters.
