Özcanlar Lastik was founded in 1975 by İbrahim Özcan, who is still the general manager of the company. The process that started with the sale of used tires in Ankara\'s New Industrial Zone under the conditions of that time continued in 1978 with the sale of new tires by taking the dealership of the Uniroyal brand.

After the establishment of a partnership structure, the company became a Lassa dealership in 1984 to sell the products of the Sabancı group and moved to the İskitler region. After the Sabancı Group and Bridgestone partnership started in 1988, Bridgestone products started to be sold as well. In 1997, he left his company partners, which carried out the wholesale and retail sale of Lassa and Bridgestone brand tires in Ankara, and continued on its way with its store in Iskit as Özcanlar Lastik. The first branch was opened in the Şaşmaz region in 1998, and the second in the Ostim region in 2003. Then, in 2005, the construction of the central building in Ostim was completed and in November 2005 the Ostim store of 3,250 square meters, which is now used as the company headquarters, was opened.

Özcanlar Lastik extended its Lassa and Bridgestone brand product range from passenger car, truck and bus tires to tractor and construction equipment tires. With the addition of battery and Jantaş wheel types, it has maximized the comprehensive service offered to passenger and commercial users.

In June 2011, it started its first production by opening the Bandag Cold Coating Facility established on a 2.750 square meter closed area. The company plans to start orbit coating production by expanding the facility to a closed area of 4,000 square meters in January 2013.

The Çankaya branch of the company was opened on April 9, 2012, and the sales point increased to three with this new store. Özcan who employs more than 50 experts on tires today, not only in Ankara, Turkey is one of the leading companies in the sector.
