Our company Altınyaldız specializes in engineering, design, production and assembly of steel Space Frame Systems for architectural and industrial purposes, wide span, column-free and large volume spaces, and has successfully carried out many Space System projects both in Turkey and abroad.

The Space Cage System, developed and implemented by Altınyaldız, not only effectively distributes loads with its steel pipes and steel spheres, but also enables useful interior volumes up to 80 m in flat systems and 200 m in vault systems.

Our history
In the early 1970s, the first works of our founder Civil Engineer İbrahim Atilla Altınyaldız started with the Space System beam arrangements and later on, the larger and general Space Systems were introduced. The first Space Beam System was used in the construction of the Istanbul Swimming Specialization Club indoor swimming pool and Space Beams with 30 m span were designed with a welded pipe system.
In the following years, Tekel\'s Tokat Cigarette Factory Space System roofs were designed and implemented by Altınyaldız. This factory has a closed area of 115.000 m2 and column axis spans are 18 x 27 meters. This project, made by Altınyaldız, has been used in the same way in Samsun, Diyarbakır, Akhisar and İzmir cigarette factories. Preka Prefabricated Building Units Factory, built in Adana, was designed according to 10 x 20 meter column axes, Space System elements were made semi-prefabricated and box profile knot elements were used.
At the end of the Space System studies designed using different knot elements in each project, manufacturing with fully prefabricated spherical knot elements was deemed appropriate and this manufacturing method has been continued for approximately 30 years.
The multi-purpose hall built for the Turkish Metal Union in Ankara is an elliptical structure with 90 mx 60 m clean openings, and a 3-storey Space System is used in the middle. The Charter Terminal at Atatürk Airport is over 20,000 m2 and was completed and delivered in 4 months including assembly in 1994.
The Interteks International Fair Area in Izmit, which was also completed in 1994, is 32.000 m2 and despite the fault line passing through the building after the big earthquake in the region, the structure has still not been damaged. The design and manufacture of 3 Olympic ice hockey halls and olympic swimming pools in elliptical and truncated dome forms in Khanty Mansisk city in Northern Russia have been successfully completed.

With the increasing need in recent years, many cement, additive and coal stock hall projects are implemented in Turkey and abroad. In 2008, Akçansa Çanakkale-Raw Stokehole installation completed project is the largest dome-shaped Space Systems made in Turkey, with the reputation of the measure is among the largest in the world span domes. This completed the dome inside diameter of 127 m, an outer diameter of 130 m and height represents a record in Turkey for the period to 45 m.

Founder of Altınyaldız International Space System Constructions Industry and Trade Inc.
İbrahim Atilla Altınyaldız was born in 1945 in İzmir. After primary school, he completed his middle and high school education in İzmir Atatürk High School, one of the well-established schools of İzmir, and graduated from the science department between 1963-1964. In the same year, he passed the entrance exam of Istanbul Technical University Engineering Department with a high degree.
After graduating in 1969, Atilla Altınyaldız, who worked as an assistant at the university for 3 years, was engaged in static project preparation in the field of engineering after his assistantship years and carried out many important domestic and international projects with Altınyaldız Engineering Consultancy Company that he founded in those years.
In the following years, he started to do research on the Space System abroad. In 1981, the Ministry of Industry and Technology Space Systems received a patent and has been authorized to use the first and only company Space Systems in Turkey. After this date, he mainly focused on Space Systems.
İbrahim Atilla Altınyaldız, who devoted his entire life to the Space System business, grew a little more every year, formed a professional technical staff by teaching this job to young generations, and started to sign many international projects.
İbrahim Atilla Altınyaldız, who passed away in September 2017 due to health problems, continues to proudly carry the flag of İbrahim Atilla Altınyaldız, his family and wonderful employees.
