Anadolu Isuzu Automotive Industry and Trade Inc. Anadolu Group is a public joint stock company in partnership with Isuzu Motors Limited and Itochu. Its main field of activity is the production and marketing of commercial vehicles such as light trucks, light trucks, small buses and pick-ups.
Anadolu Isuzu\'s experience and know-how is based on Çelik Installation, which started the production of pickup trucks and motorcycles in 1965. Continuing to manufacture Skoda trucks until 1986, the company signed a license agreement with Isuzu in 1983 and started production of Isuzu vehicles in its factory in Kartal, Istanbul in July 1984.
Perhaps the most important of the issues that Anadolu Isuzu has pioneered in the Turkish automotive industry has been the understanding of service that brings customer satisfaction to the forefront. Anadolu Isuzu attaches importance to quality awareness in production, sales and after sales since its establishment, and it has been implementing Total Quality Management, which reached full efficiency in 1995 as a working system, and ISO-9002 quality assurance system since 1996.
Anadolu Isuzu, which received the fruit of these efforts in 1998 with the ISO-9002 quality certificate, also targets the Japanese standards in product quality and conducts KAIZEN studies in production with the support of Isuzu. In 2003, the company was awarded the ISO-9001: 2000 quality certificate by TÜV. In 2005, BVQI awarded Anadolu Isuzu with the ISO 14001 certification by approving the company\'s environmental management system.
Finally, the company\'s 9001: 2000 quality certificate was renewed by BVQI in 2006. Anadolu Isuzu, a member of the Kal-Der Quality Association, is among the organizations that applied for the Quality Award for the first time in 1996.
