THE HISTORY OF BIOHUSK ENERGY The story of Biohusk Energy Sdn Bhd began in Kedah, a state of Malaysia which is fondly known as the "Rice bowl of Malaysia". Located in the northwestern part of Peninsular Malaysia, Kedah is place where tremendous rice productions have been carried out, and that was where our founders recognized the opportunities when they saw rice production processes produce incredible amounts of agricultural process paddy residues: paddy husks. These huge volumes of unused low value paddy residues are environmental nuisance, and therefore Biohusk Energy was formed primarily to develop solutions for these paddy husks. THE ESTABLISHMENT OF BIOHUSK ENERGY Founded and led by Mr. Patrick Ong: CEO of Biohusk Energy and Mr. Yee Cang Ling: General Manager of Biohusk Energy, Biohusk Energy Sdn Bhd was established in accordance with the global paradigm shift towards sustainable green energy to involve principally in producing sustainable solutions and values for the biomass industry countrywide and region wide.
