About
1990: ÇİFTEL ELEKTRO MEKANİK SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. It was founded by Yunus Çiftçi, who has years of knowledge and experience in the automotive electricity sector, in ISTANBUL-Sirkeci and also started production in an area of 80 m2 in Istanbul-Avcılar.
1991: In order to meet the needs of the future, a new production site in the Beylikldüzü Organized Industrial Zone was purchased, the construction was completed according to the need, and the production activity was moved here since 1992.
1993: Considering that production will move from metropolises such as Istanbul in the following years, TOSB (Taysad Organized Industrial Zone) was among the founders.
1994: Introduced to the international market by participating in the Automechanika Frankfurt-Germany fair, which is the world\'s largest and most important specialized fair in its field.
1995: Our company, which aims to shift its overseas sales from developing markets to developed western markets, was examined in every aspect by the experts of CBI and IGEME, the Netherlands Government Institution, and rated it with (A) grade. As a result of this rating, our participation in the 1996 Automechanika Frankfurt fair was provided by CBI and thus, European customers were assured that we could be a reliable supplier.
1997: Auto insurance design, production and sales of the world\'s leading automotive safety parts Littelfuse technical cooperation with the Auto Insurance in Turkey has progressed to become manufactured by Çiftel the first time and is exported to the whole world market.
2001: Çiftel in Turkey has established the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for the first time in their field, including design and certification.
2002: \"New Type Auto Insurance\" R&D project was initiated with the cooperation of Istanbul University and KOSGEB.
2004: In order to invest in TOSB Organized Industrial Zone, which is the heart of automotive, construction projects were completed and an investment decision was taken.
2005-2006: The construction of the factory, administrative building, support units and treatment plant in the TOSB Organized Industrial Zone was completed and the new and modern production area was started as of December 2006.
2007: With the emphasis on R&D activities, the design of 2 new products was completed this year, patent applications were made and mass production was made.
2008: New machinery investments for the quality laboratory and production were planned, implemented and the modernization period started.
2016: The company was transformed into a Joint Stock Company with the change of type, keeping the company title and field of activity the same.
2017: A new investment was initiated with a capacity increase and modernization project.
2018: Quality Management Systems were renewed and IATF 16949: 2016, ISO 14001: 2015 and BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 certificates were obtained.
2020: The Quality Management System was renewed and the transition was made from BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 to ISO 45001: 2018 and the certificate was obtained in the process server.
