It started its activities in 1980 as an engineering company in the field of electronics, and in its early days, it appeared in the industry by producing electronic systems in various subjects. In the meantime, it focused on weight measurement and started to produce electronic weighing instruments in 1987 under the brand of Esit.
Equal, electronic instruments industry in Turkey has always been a pioneer; It started to produce the first weighing indicator in 1987, the first load cell in 1989, the first automatic weighing devices in 1991, the first digital load cell in 1996, mobile vehicle weighing systems in 2000, and unattended and wireless systems in 2006. Companies advocating Turkey in the industry, creative engineering and rigorous research and development with the world only managed to produce weighing instruments and systems which are produced in developed countries, in Turkey, the product has been registered with the quality of documents received from Europe.
Vehicle scales are produced in the factory established on an area of 30000m2 in Sakarya Hendek. In its factory established on an area of 32000m² in Istanbul Alemdağ, there are Load Cell, Electronics, Steel Construction, Machinery, Metalworking, Heat Treatment and R&D technical units and the company\'s management and marketing units. The number of employees at the factory reached 270 in 2011.
The main principle of the company is quality production and meeting the customer needs one hundred percent. Its goal is to serve the industry in the world weighing industry with its technology and continuity in a long term.
Turkey engaged in direct sales to end users and manufacturers of overseas companies in Bulgaria, Romania and Russia to has its own subsidiaries and agencies in various countries. The export rate of the company, which indexes its success measure to foreign sales, is over 30%.
Esit has successfully completed important projects in technology-based weight measurement and control by bringing together the production of weighing instruments, extensive engineering infrastructure and experience.
The company, which has been producing under the ISO 9000 quality assurance system since 1998, has an EU certificate, which means that the products it makes and brands are accepted in the European Union. In addition to the EN 45501 certificate, its products have international OIML, CE certificates.
