The foundation of the company was laid in 1923, when Hacı Mehmet Gülşen, the representative of Gülşen Gıdan three generations ago, chose this profession. After H. Mehmet Gülşen passed away in 1982, his son Burhan Gülşen, who was raised as an apprentice next to him, took over the flag. Mustafa Gülşen, the only son of Burhan Gülşen, did not continue his education and started to work with his father.

Wholesale sales to the surrounding provinces and districts started in 1975-76. In order to be a strong wholesaler in its region, the company\'s wholesale distribution network and regions have expanded. In 1990, a family business was established under the name of \"Gülşen Gıda Sanayi ve Anonim Şirketi\".

Gülşen Gıda went to restructuring in retail stores after 2000 and increased its stores in Çorum to 5, 4 of which are retail and 1 of which is wholesale store, until 2005. As of 2011, the number of stores reached 8 in Çorum, and at the end of 2011, it opened its first franchise store in Ankara. In addition, the store opened at the entrance of Çorum, on the Ankara-Samsun highway, is the largest store opened under the name \"Premium Store\". In order to contribute to the promotion of Çorum eggs and local foods specific to Çorum and to meet the food and beverage needs of the guests standing in this facility, along with the Chickpea and Nuts Varieties, it has also put into service a boutique place with the brand \'EGGER\', the slogan of which is \"EVERY STATE OF THE EGG\".

In order to strengthen its technical infrastructure, the new factory building started to be built in 2006 and in the spring of 2007, it started production in its new factory, under conditions that have the quality system certificates required all over the world. Aware of the importance of packaging quality and quality at least as much as product quality today, it continues its R&D studies in this area and continuously adds solution partners to its portfolio.

Gülşen Gıda, which sets new targets for itself to branch in its field, has carried out new concept studies for retail stores in order to carry out the branches that are planned to open outside Çorum with the Franchising system. In the distribution of its own branded products throughout the country, it conducts private label works with national chains as well as selling it through dealerships. In addition, it sells many kinds of gift packages that it has developed to hotels, cafes, airports, recreational facilities, and sales points selling local products. Foreign trade is one of the most important fields of work for the company. In this context, it participates in international and domestic fairs and tries to be included in all activities that will contribute to this field. It exports its products to 10 countries in different geographies, especially as a result of the work done on this subject for the last 3 years.
