About
The founder of our company, the late M. Hayri Özkaya (1937-2012), started his first business life in 1953 with the purchase and sale of peanuts.
He made his first export experience in 1964 with shipments to Aleppo and Damascus. As a result of the travels it has made, trade has advanced itself towards yarn trader and determined its new sector with yarn trading in 1970. By establishing his first business in Istanbul in 1980, he brought his business life together with the manufacturing sector. He moved his experience in this sector to Gaziantep in 1987 and advanced it by transforming it into an industrial investment. He opened the way for new generations by handing over the flag to his sons who do not leave him alone in business life in 1992. The export life, which they started with several countries in 1995, continues to grow with the stability and growth of the new generation as a principle and with the revision and new investments in the machinery they have made in the following years.
Experienced in the industry, it has become a firm position producing the highest quality yarn with a professional team in Turkey. In 2008, he entered the Carpet and Home Textile sector and started the production of Anti-Slip-Based Bath Rugs by establishing a facility with an annual production capacity of 3.000.000 m2 and in a short time, he decided to transform his experiences in this sector into new investments.
In 2011, it made a new investment decision to add a new ring to its production power and entered the Carpet sector under the brand name \"FLORA HALI\". Flora Halı has the feature of being the only company that produces all the yarn raw material inputs it needs for its own weaving production. Exports are made to nearly 80 countries including the European Union, North and South America, North African countries, the Middle East and Russia.
