Jiangxi Bluestar Xinghuo Silicones Co., Ltd.

As a former Xinghuo Chemical Plant affiliated with the Ministry of Chemical Industry, the Jiangxi Xinghuo Organic Silicone Plant under China National Chemical Corporation was founded in 1968. As a manufacturer of national defense chemicals and new chemical materials, the enterprise provides equipment for the production of organic silicone monomer, organic silicone-related downstream products and caustic soda with annual capacity of 200,000 tons, 100,000 tons and 80,000 tons. The products have been sold across the nation, as well as to over 20 countries and regions. Located in Yangjialing, Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province, the plant covers an area of 1,000 hectares with more than 2,000 employees, 19 foreign experts, five professional engineers, 10 doctorial students, 37 postgraduates and many other technical talents. The plant began producing high-energy rocket fuel for national defense in the 1970s. In early 1980s, it expanded into the field of new chemical materials and built the national largest 10,000-ton-capacity production equipment for organic silicone monomer in the early 1990s. Its main products are the organic silicone monomer and intermediate products. The output of organic silicone monomer ranks first in Asia and third in the world. Jiangxi Xinghuo Organic Silicone Plant-based Bluestar New Chemical Materials Co Ltd went public in May 2000. The technique for organic methyl monomer has reached globlal standards. ChemChina invested 8 billion yuan ($1.27 billion) on August 9, 2009 to introduce French BSI's advanced technology to construct a production line, with annual capacity of 400,000 tons of organic silicone monomer and 240,000 tons of organic silicone-related downstream products. By 2015, Xinghuo Organic Silicone Plant will achieve annual output of 700,000 tons of organic silicone monomer with annual sales revenues of 10 billion yuan.
