About
KOLT was established in February 2014 with three partners to produce electromechanical products for the defense industry. Although he initially focused on mechanical design and manufacturing for the automotive industry, he has been involved in electronic design intensively since January 2015. It opened an R&D office in Ankara Technology Development Zone (Bilkent Cyberpark) in August 2015, together with design works received from ASELSAN, its main customer in designs for the defense industry. Upon the intensification and privatization of electronic design works, a new structuring was made with a single partner at the end of 2015. In this structuring, KOLT has abandoned contract mechanical manufacturing works and aimed to work on electronic / electromechanical design and production for the defense industry. In 2016, duties in terms of electronic card and unit were taken in programs such as ATAK helicopter multi-functional display unit, HÜRKUŞ-B New Generation Basic Trainer Program, ÖZGÜN Helicopter Program, Mobile Jammer. The design capacity continued to increase in 2017, and design studies were carried out in programs such as İhasavar, Task Clock and KALKAN Air Defense Radar.
With the acceleration of intensive ASELSAN efforts in 2017, KOLT increased the number of employees to 21, while its turnover at the end of 2016 was 790,000.00 TL, at the end of 2017 it managed to increase this turnover to 4,500,000.00 TL. KOLT gained momentum by adding heater control panels and elevator electronics to its work in the industrial area and Roketsan activities in the defense industry. Representation offices were acquired in Italy and America, and separate works were initiated for the nationalization of imported materials. The rapid growth of design infrastructure and design projects has led to an increase in the need for production infrastructure related to designs. In order to respond to mass production demands, Macunköy facility investment was made as of April 2017. Within the scope of mass production, the number of cards / units that have been ordered and whose production continues has exceeded 19,000. With its increasing design capacity, it has turned to the automotive sector in addition to the defense industry. Product development studies for the automotive sector continue rapidly.
Our company, which is constantly developing and growing, has increased its number of employees to 35-40 people as of the end of 2019, and its turnover is approximately 10 million TL. Our company, which aims to increase the number of personnel to 45-50 people by the end of 2020, aims to increase its turnover steadily.
