The first foundations of the KUR COMPANIES GROUP were laid by Durmuş İşsever in 1984 and KURSAN started its activities by manufacturing in the synthetic woven fabric and sack sector.
Aiming to provide benefits to its country and its employees, KURSAN continues its efforts to gain an effective share in the market by creating a company culture aimed at constantly renewing and improving its system, monitoring the change and development in technology, determining new investments and new areas.
As of 2003, it has increased its capacity by 40% and has become the most experienced and largest institution in the Middle East. Annual sack production is 216,000,000 pieces.
As of June 2003, our company offered our Istanbul Office to our customers in order to respond to the needs of our customers in Marmara and Thrace regions in a much shorter time.
As of 2004, KURSAN started to produce Polypropylene Continuous Multifilament yarn (CF) and Bigbag in order to meet the needs of its customers with a much larger product portfolio.
