Mageba is a Swiss company with headquarters in Bulach, Switzerland. It is one of the leading companies worldwide providing structural bearings, expansion joints and other high quality products and services for the transport infrastructure and building construction industries. Over the past 10 years, mageba has also significantly expanded its product and service range for earthquake protection and building surveillance.
The company was founded in 1963 and currently has approximately 900 employees worldwide; 150 of these employees are amine engineers. Approximately 120 people are employed in its head office in Switzerland.
mageba Austria, China, Germany, India, Russia, South Korea, Turkey and the United States has affiliates. It is also represented in more than 50 countries by authorized partner companies.
To date mageba has provided bearings and expansion joints for over 20,000 structures, and in doing so has tackled the unique challenges of the world\'s largest bridges.

1963
Foundation of mageba company by Reinholder Huber in Zurich. The company\'s activities have been the design, production, sales and installation of bridge bearings and expansion joints.
1980
Construction of the world\'s largest test rig for structural bearings with a capacity of 100,000 kN (10,000 tons).
1991
Certification of the company quality system in accordance with ISO 9001 / EN 29001 (SQS certificate).
2001
The company MSE and two private investors, T. Spuler and G. Moor, took over the company. The beginning of a dynamic growth era.
2005
Establishment of mageba Shanghai Ltd with new manufacturing facilities in Feng Xian near Shanghai.
2007
In Kolkata, India mageba Bridge Products Pvt. Ltd\'s establishment.
2008
Significant expansion of the company\'s production facilities in Fussach, Austria.
2009
The city of Bulach has awarded mageba a sustainability award in the fields of economy, ecology and social issues.
2010
Significant investments in Bulach headquarters and manufacturing facilities.
2011
US, Turkey and the establishment of new subsidiaries in South Korea.

Official acquisition of the former RW-Group plants in Slovakia with the establishment of mageba Slovakia sro.

Establishment of new AISC certified production facility in Pottstown, USA.
