Merbolin Turkey\'s oldest manufacturer of paints, paint production Fermeneciler to Istanbul in 1882, was also founded in the Central Painting Workshop starts.
By understanding the needs of the paint industry in Turkey in 1945, the first company in the industry that enables the transition from factory to factory still has the Merbolin. In 1953, the name Merbolin was born by taking the first syllables from the name, which was the Central Paint Workshop. A paint factory was established in Topkapı in 1956.
In 1960, MERBOLIN BOYA ve MATBAA MÜREKKEBI SANAYI A.Ş was established. During this period, the company continues its production in its facilities in Istanbul Topkapı. Grew continuously between 1960 and 1983 has been an important company in the paint sector in Turkey. For example, in 1970, he started exporting his ship paints to Norway.
In 1974, BOYATAŞ BOYA DAĞITIM ve SANAYİ A.Ş was established.
Our company name was changed as MERBOLİN BOYA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. on 04.05.2007.
Today, under the Merbolin brand, construction and industrial paints are produced in Izmit-Dilovası Facilities.
Our company, which received the ISO 9000 quality certificate in 1998, now has the TS EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System Certificate.
Our company also received the TS-EN ISO 9000 Quality Management System Success Award;

Product range
Although paint production is carried out under two main groups, Solvent Based Glossy Construction Topcoat paints are in TS 39; Interior and exterior paints are produced in accordance with TS 5808.
Our product range includes the following paint types;
1. Industrial and Heavy Industry paints;
Air and Oven Dry Acrylic Paints, Urea-Melamine Based Oven Paints, Epoxy Paints, Chlorine Rubber Paints, Heat Resistant Silicone Paints, Polyurethane Paints, Rapid Paints, Thinners, Wash Primer Paints, Cellulosic Paints.
2. Construction Group paints;
Synthetic paints, Antirust, Primers, Putties, Wood Preservatives, Varnishes, Plastic Paints, Thinners, Glues, Solvent and Water Based Exterior Paints.
The industrial paints produced reach the customers directly, while the construction paints reach the consumers through the dealers.
