Our company started production of Turkish delight and confectionery by Şekerci Tahir Çavuş under the name of ALTINFİL in 1933 in a small workshop around Şehreküstü Elmacı Pazarı, an old settlement in Gaziantep. In the first years of production, our business has increased its production and sales with the determination and diligent work of family members, and has made sales within and outside the province and has been made profitable and stable. As a result of the work of these family members, the business has continued its existence by increasing production, employment and profitability. When Şekerci Tahir Sergeant passed away in 1965, his son Şekerci Mehmet Tahir Efendi became the sole authority. As a result of perseverance and work, the business grew even more and increased its production and employment. While moving forward in family business in 1993, Mehmet Tahir Efendi\'s son M. Mesut Yediler, besides confectionery, established dried nuts manufacturing as well as making the business a company, increasing the employment of workers, increasing profitability and bringing quality to the fore. It has made Gaziantep the first enterprise to receive a production certificate from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in the nuts, confectionery and food sector.
The company is currently Şekerci Tahir Efendi Ltd. Şti. continues its production life with the name. With its brands Mesut Kuruyemiş and Gold Tanem, it continues to be a pioneer in its sector with its employee-employer compatibility with determination and determination, and with the knowledge and experience it has transferred from generation to generation. With this understanding, it has always been a leading company in both domestic and foreign markets. The production of our products is carried out in fully automatic machines without human touch, in accordance with the production permit of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Turkish Food Codex, with great care.
