Sönmez Transformer Industry produces Dry or Oil Power Transformers, special transformers and reactors. Our company was established in 1976 in Gebze. Our transformer production site is established on an area of 7500 square meters. Advanced transformer and reactor production in our facility is carried out with our own technology. There are 60 employees in our facility. Our facility; It consists of winding, core arrangement, mechanics, assembly and test sections.
Our History
- Until 1980, maintenance and repair of distribution transformers with powers of 630 kVA and below were carried out.
Since 1980, the production of distribution transformers up to 2500 kVA has been started.
Since 1990, production of power and distribution transformers up to 5000 kVA has been started.
Since 1995, special type transformer and reactor production has been focused on.
Since 1998, all types of transformers up to 25 MVA have been manufactured in our current facility on an area of 7500 m2.
Since 2000, the production of cast resin dry transformers has been started with our own capital. At the same time, all types of special transformers can be manufactured.
