Turkey Petroleum Chemical Rubber and Plastics Industry Employers\' Association (KIPLAS) was established on February 6, 1961. As of today, it plays a pioneering role as an employer organization representing the chemical industry with its 79 members operating in almost every branch of the industry such as petrochemicals, tires, plastics, rubber, composites, pharmaceuticals, cleaning and care products and employing more than 25,000 people.
KIPLAS, as an Employers\' Union that determines the direction and policy with its strong members operating in the chemical industry on a national and international scale, conducts collective bargaining negotiations on behalf of its members. In addition, within the framework of the protection policy, it provides legal and occupational health and safety training and supervision services and representation services in legal cases. The execution of the National Vocational Qualification System operating in Turkey Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA) represents the chemical industry sector committees in the body.
The aim of our union is to gather employers operating in the field of chemistry under the roof of KIPLAS and represent its members with its strong representation ability and wide communication network, which it has inherited from its deep-rooted past, to protect and improve the economic and social rights and rights of its members in the working relations, within the framework of legislation, To expand the range of services it provides to its members in the fields of Jobs and Education and to increase the quality of these services, to produce rational and permanent solutions within the framework of the mission of protecting the members\' expectations, to contribute to the establishment of a fair wage system and a better working environment, to establish work peace. KIPLAS is also represented in international platforms through its umbrella organization TISK. KIPLAS aims to adapt to today\'s changing working life by developing all its operation and service policies on the basis of \"protection\" and \"sustainability\". In line with this understanding, KIPLAS has been a signatory of the Global Compact since 22 September 2015 by adopting the 10 basic principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
KIPLAS, which adopts its duty and policy to provide proactive service to its members by continuously increasing its service variety, handles and develops all its services for its Members in accordance with the spirit of the time in line with its \"Full Protection\" mission and \"Sustainability\" concept.
KIPLAS has concentrated its services to its members under two main headings: Industrial Relations and Technical Education-Consultancy. “Legal and Social Relations Directorate” provides collective bargaining, litigation, legal consultancy and training services in the field of industrial relations, which directs the individual working relations of companies and includes human resources management.
The \"Technical Affairs and Training Directorate\" provides training, consultancy and independent site inspection services on workplace safety, environment, international and national legislation on classification, labeling and transportation of chemicals and industrial risks (technical safety, fire safety).
