As Vestel, we started our activities in 1984, our foundation year. Since 1994, when we joined Zorlu Holding, we have continued to increase our production power, exports and market share by multiplying ourselves.
We offer a wide range of products in consumer electronics, white goods, information technologies and digital fields to the world with a total of 26 companies, 13 of which are domestic and 13 international.
Overtaken by our competitors in our industry for many years the export championship which belongs to us, today we are among Turkey\'s best-known and reputable brand 10.
We create a source of income for 30 thousand people thanks to our more than 13 thousand employees, 1.050 sales points, 350 after-sales centers and thousands of sub-industry employees.

Vestel City, with the capacity to produce 76,000 products a day, is Europe\'s largest production complex on a single area. The two Refrigerator factories have a floor wide enough to accommodate 19 ships the size of Titanic. The washing and dishwashing machine factory is mass-producing enough to create a road that stretches from Istanbul to Brussels. With this superiority of Vestel City, we are proud to be the first and only Turkish brand to enter National Geographic\'s Mega Factories documentary series, which previously featured brands such as Ferrari, Jack Daniel\'s and Coca-Cola.
We have the success of being the pride of domestic technology in terms of innovation with our unlimited budget allocated to R&D and our team of 800 R&D engineers. In addition, we are one of the 3 Turkish companies that are among the first 1000 companies in the world to spend the most on R&D.
Thanks to the solid steps we took in branding, we achieved the success of being the first brand to be included in the state-sponsored branding program Turquality in 2007.
We are among the world\'s largest OEM (original equipment manufacturer / original equipment manufacturers) and ODM (original design manufacturer), we continue our sales in EU countries on an OEM / ODM basis. In 2006, we bought Finlux and Luxor brands, which are well known in Scandinavian and Northern European countries, and started a market attack in production and foreign sales. In 2008, we acquired Vestfrost, one of the most prestigious white goods brands in Europe and Russia.
Following the Graetz brand, which is widespread in countries where the German school is dominant, we also purchased the franchise of Telefunken and signed an agreement to manufacture and sell to Spain, Italy and Portugal markets. In 2011, we acquired four major European white goods brands, Elektra, Servis, New Pol and Atlantic, and started to concentrate our production on these brands.
Drawing a strong profile in the international arena with our world-class production understanding and quality products, we took our place among the “World\'s largest 250 consumer product companies” in Deloitte\'s “Global Powers of the Consumer Products Industry 2011” report.
