Our company is one of the leading companies of our country in architectural glass processing with its high capacity and has been operating in the glass industry for nearly 40 years. Yıldız Cam entered the architectural glass industry in 1978 with retail sales, and started wholesale in the wholesale business since 1985.
Yıldız Cam expanded its sales network with its active sales policy and became Şişecam Flat Glass \"Authorized Dealer\" in 1990. Our company has continued its development by following the developments and innovations in the construction sector where architectural glass is used extensively (indoor and outdoor) and in 1992 Şişecam Flat Glass became \"Authorized Double Glass Manufacturer-Insulating Glass Systems\".
In 1994, Yıldız Cam started edge and surface processing to meet the increasing demands for architectural glass processing in different sectors.
At the beginning of the 2000s, our company established its policies and continued its investments in order to be a processor that can offer all kinds of solutions in architectural glass according to the developments and demands in local and international markets. Thus, in 2005, the production of safety glasses - tempered and laminated glasses -; In 2006, to the production of screen and roll printed glasses, in 2009 to the production of satin glasses and curved tempered and curved tempered laminated glasses; In 2011, it started to produce bullet proof glasses.
Yıldız Cam continues to maintain and improve its quality level and continue to work effectively in the sector thanks to its technological infrastructure, technical knowledge, sophisticated production software, approximately 600 experienced employees, and two production facilities equipped with modern architectural glass processing machines.
Today, Yıldız Cam has two high-tech facilities, one in Ümraniye-Istanbul with a closed area of 25,000 m2 and an open area of 10,000 m2 and the other in Kartepe-Kocaeli, with a closed area of 19,000 m2 and an open area of 33,000 m2. With these two technological marvels architectural glass processing facilities, our company is the leading player in the sector with its architectural glass solutions, flexible approaches and excellent services.
Yıldız Cam supplies architectural glass from high-quality float glass manufacturers such as Şişecam Flat Glass, AGC, Guardian, Pilkington, Saint Gobain and Vitro Glass, and provides customers and projects with all kinds of architectural glass (safety, heat and solar control double glasses, decorative glasses, sound control glasses, and satin glasses).
Our company supplied architectural glass to important projects in 2017 and reached a sales turnover of 210.0 million TL, exceeding the export level of 10.0 million USD at the end of the year.
